The article needs a ton of work for a GA possibility. It needs expansion, better prose, a picture or two, the personal life section should not be under career etc. But it's better to check what's needed on the GA pages. [edit] Speedy deletion
PLEASE NOTE: The discussion below concerns a redirect from the "article" part of this page. It is not relevant any more.
A comment on a WPBiography Project should of course not be deleted. If you want to delete the redirect, then do so, but I do not quite see the point. The redirect does not violate undesirable redirects. -Duribald 02:49, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- And also Wikipedia:Redirect lists as a reason NOT to erase a redirect: "5.Someone finds them useful. Hint: If someone says they find a redirect useful, they probably do. You might not find it useful — this is not because the other person is a liar, but because you browse Wikipedia in different ways." - The criteria for the establishment for redirects as noted on Wikipedia:Redirect does not include the sort of redirect you have created here. Based on that lack of establishment, I proposed the deletion. As I noted to you on your talk page, if this is the standard operating procedure for the Biography Project, then by all means go ahead. As I have already pointed out, there is no basis for a speedy deletion process for this redirect in Wikipedia policy. When it comes to "regular" deletion, the policy about useless redirects clearly states: "Don't worry; redirects are cheap." This is certainly not a harmful redirect. Also, as pointed out above, the mere fact that someone finds a redirect useful is explicitly mentioned as a reason to keep it, in the Wikipedia:Redirect policy. When it comes to th WPBiography project - no, there is no such standard operating procedure, but standard operating procedures are created through innovation. Someone has to start it. The motto of Wikipedia editing is "Be bold!"; not "Delete everything that's not standard practice!".
