This series was first aired on FOX from April to July of 1988. This version also aired in 1991 All Day Double Dare a Thon.

- In this version of Family Double Dare they had the fastest coruse run ever in Double Dare's History, 43 Seconds.
The Fox's Family Double Dare Set.
- The music was updated for this version.
- The Set was also updated. Fox thouth the set used on the Nick 's version was too kidish and updated the set to a Prime Time look.
- A long with the music update the famous coruse music(The One from 1988- 1993)was first used.
