Franklin Hooper

Franklin William Hooper, LL.D. (1851–1914) was an American institute director. He was born at Walpole, N. H., studied at Antioch College (Ohio) 1867-71), and graduated from Harvard in 1875. He taught science at Adelphi College, Brooklyn in 1880-89. He was president of Antioch College in 1901-05. He frequently lectured on biology and geology and was active in the organization of museums.
