Fratzog
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fratzog was the name of the emblem used by Chrysler Corporation's Dodge Division from 1962 though 1976. It was composed of three 3-pointed stars forming a larger 3-pointed star. When Dodge stylists designed it in the early 1960s, they had to have a name for it, and one of the designers came up with the meaningless name 'Fratzog', which ultimately stuck.
As the Dodge Division's logo, Fratzog was incorporated in various badges and emblems on Dodge vehicles. It was also integrated into the design of such parts as steering wheel center hubs and road wheel covers.
