The village is just off the main Lurglea road that runs from Carrickmore to Donaghmore. The village itself consists of one pub, a church, a post office and an adjoining grocery shop. Most of the locals belong to the farming community as throughout this rural area of Tyrone and hosts a local Gaelic football team who has reasonable size facilities just outside the town.
