Gatenby
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gatenby is a secluded village in North Yorkshire, about two miles east of the A1 road. It is near the River Swale. Nearby is RAF Leeming.
Its name derives from the Old English Goutenby, meaning "susceptible to gout". The local area is traditionally a haunt for werewolves, and has produced some of England's best fossil specimens of Tyrannosaurus Rex.
