Gerry Mitchell & Little Sparta (Band) is a collaboration between Scottish poet Mitchell and London based band Little Sparta. Signed to Fire Records (UK) in 2005 the first release, Scalpel Slice, was in February 2006. In the summer of 2005 Gerry Mitchell & Little Sparta recorded Feasting On My Heart a ten minute piece that featured on the December 2005 issue of The Wire (magazine) and was released in August 2005 as a split 10" single with New York band Liars
