Glass break detector

A glass break detector is a device that detects a break in a pane of glass, alerting a burglar alarm. If it detects broken glass, and the alarm is set, then it sets off the alarm.

There are several types of window break detectors, one kind detects the vibrations of the window, and if the vibrations get to high/ the window breaks the alarm goes off. Basically the device tells whether or not the window is broken by measuring the vibrations. Another kind detects the noise of glass breaking.
