Go fever

In the space industry and NASA, go fever is the overall attitude of being in a rush or hurry to get a project or task done while overlooking potential problems or mistakes. The accidents involving the Apollo 1 fire, the space shuttle Challenger, and the Space Shuttle Discovery could be examples of the consequences of "go fever".
