[edit] Goro has leaping Stomp in MK
In case anyone doesn't know, Goro had his leaping stomp move in the first game. proof: In the Special Attack section for Goro's sprite sheet, his leaping stomp sprites are shown http://mkw.mortalkombatonline.com/mk1/goro/sprites/ I'll try to find video's, but if you really want proof, play the game. trust me, he has it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.59.134.163 (talk • contribs).
- Right you are. Fixing now. MarphyBlack 00:22, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Game Boy and MK: Annihilation references
I just did a bunch of editing and reorganizing to this article, but I don't know what to do about the mention of Goro's appearance in the Game Boy version of MK1 (The seventh bullet under Trivia). I simply can't make heads or tails out of the entire paragraph at all, so I'm leaving it alone for now since I don't know what it's actually trying to say, and therefore can't actually rewrite it in a more comprehensible manner.
Also, where in MK: Annihilation does it say that Sheeva is Goro's wife? I don't recall that ever being stated in the movie. MarphyBlack 10:46, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
It says in the article that Goro was defeated in his tenth title defense by Liu Kang, however it says in Shao Khan's article that he was defeated by Johnny Cage, which is also the case in the movie. Just thought someone should confirm and change that to avoid confusion.--Gusiman 00:19, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Notice of intent to move this page
At the moment I write this, there is a name collision between this article, the name of a town in Italy, & a woreda or district in Ethiopia, as well as a colloquial form of "goroawase". In coming days, there will be an article on another woreda (different Regions) & a town in Ethiopia. The best thing to do would be to move this article to Goro (Mortal Kombat) (or a similar name) & make this article into a disambiguation page. If I don't see an objection here in the next few days, I'll assume that silence is consent & perform the act; if I do, I'll be happy to discuss the matter. -- llywrch 22:49, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
- Go for it. My rule of thumb is when the disambig. header reaches three terms, it's time for a page move. Since you seem to be more familiar with the other subjects (at least the woreda(s?)), I'll let you move it and create the disambig. page, since I don't really know enough about them to make a good dab. And yes, Goro (Mortal Kombat) is the best page to move to. Virogtheconq 01:30, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] What about MK Trilogy?
The article states that since Goro's defeat in the first Mortal Kombat he hadn't been seen until Mortal Kombat 4.But Goro appears in Mortal Kombat Trilogy. Is the article wrong or is there a different explanation?Dimts 13:14, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
- Goro's appearance in MKT is not canon to the storyline, meaning he was simply included in the character roster for completion reasons (His bio in the game is identical to the original MK's and he has no ending). The same goes for Kintaro's appearance in MKT. MarphyBlack 19:57, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Alignment?
Why is alignment included in this page? It seems liek a DnD term, being used in a non DnD characters article. The text in the article also seems to contradict the "Evil" alignment in his info box.
Basically, I think the whole section should be removed as unnecesary.
