- Graf Maximilian von Spee, a German admiral in World War I.
or to several German ships that were named after the admiral:
- SMS Graf Spee was an incomplete Mackensen class battlecruiser of World War I, scrapped in 1923.
- The "pocket battleship" Admiral Graf Spee, launched in 1934, that saw action in World War II and sunk at the Battle of the River Plate. The name Graf Spee was also considered for a SR Merchant Navy Class locomotive to commemmorate the battle.
- The German Federal Navy ship Schulfregatte Graf Spee.
