Groovy Films

Groovy Films, is an international and Latin-American audiovisual production company represented in Brazil, Mexico and Argentina. Founded in 2004 in Rio de Janeiro only by Frandu Almeida, Estevam Allevato, Roberto Peralta and Rodrigo Rueda Terrazas it now comprehends a vast and diverse group of collaborators with several nationalities and professional areas of expertise. The Production company is nowadays directed in three countries by Frandu Almeida, Carlos Lacerda and Rodrigo Rueda Terrazas.
It is also the Production company of the recent and still in production full-feature entitled "Poliamore" (English: Polyamory) (2006-2007) (http://www.poliamore.com) filmed in co-production with Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.(http://www.groovyfilmes.com) The film deals with the recent and controversial theme of "responsible polygamy" known socially as polyamory.

As of 2005 the Production Company adopted the slogan "Films Should Know No Frontiers" denoting the international and diverse vision of its members, collaborators and founders. The production company seeks emphasis in the universality of cinema as a channel of expression, communication and socially resource, as well as the advantages of digital cinema and its distribution, access and modern audience in relation to the Production Company's projects.
