Ground Truth (film)

The Ground Truth is a documentary film on US Iraq War veterans and their experiences while returning to the United States. This 2006 film was directed by Patricia Foulkrod and in association with Operation Truth, the organization formed by Iraq War veteran Paul Rieckhoff.
November 16, 2006 press reports indicated that the film was short-listed for an Academy Award, or Oscar, nomination. [1] The film beat other documentaries, to be accepted at the Sundance Film Festival. [2]
