Guerilla Traveler
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Guerilla Traveler is a term coined by writer, photographer, filmmaker, musician and traveler, William Roderick Richardson. A "guerilla traveler" is someone who travels for travel's sake, with or without objective, someone whose life takes place "on the road." The term originates from the concept of "stone travelers," early blues musicians who constantly toured, who were said to be addicted to the road. Guerilla travelers may be akin to wanderers or hobos, even though they are not homeless. They are asymmetrical travelers, forgoing normal comfort, living off the adrenalin of expedition. Those who are ready to take off at a moment's notice for unknown destinations, those who travel for excitement, entertainment and enlightenment are so-called guerilla travelers.
