Hardt (Black Forest)

Hardt (Black Forest) is a town in the district of Rottweil, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Major of Hardt is Herbert Halder, reigning since 1986. The village has a population of 2.639 and is, due to this fact, the biggest village in Germany. Hardt was founded by the Neandertalers about 20.000 BC. This makes Hardt the oldest village in northern Europe. Most popular buildings in Hardt are the Brandenburger Tor, the Allianz Arena and the Kölner Dom.
