- Hard dance is like a new grouping for stuff that wasn't as hardcore sounding. It's more to do with the "club" scene than the old "rave" scene. More BBC Radio 1 stuff. It's things like UK Hard House and Hard Trance. Some of the new hardcore stuff could become blurred though.

- I notice on the front page that Happy Hardcore is on here. It's use on Wiki needs to be discontinued. The term is outdated - there is no such style. It's being used greatly out of context. --Revolt 18:29, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

Shouldn't nu style hardcore/gabba also belong to the hard dance group? It can be often heard on harddance events (typical dutch scheme - starting with hardtrance, going hardstyle, ending hardcore).
[edit] Importance of Hard Dance
I saw hard dance was included as one of the main electronic music genres: Ambient, Breakbeat, Drum and bass, Electronica, Electronic art music, Hard dance, Hardcore, House, Techno, Trance, Industrial, Synthpop. I think hard dance is mainly a slower spin-off of Hardcore dance music and not one of the main electronic music genres. Read the article Gabber music on Nuskool gabba / Nu style gabber. In the UK at least, hard dance is major Genre of dance music, and should definatly belong where it is.
