[edit] One article
What do you think? Should there be an article, listing the magical items in W.I.T.C.H., e.g. Heart of Candracar, Seal of Phobos, Mage's Ring, Seal of Nerissa, Heart of Zamballa, Tonga Tooth, etc. If so, I propose merging this page into it. --May the Edit be with you, always. - Oh, I almost forgot, if option seems reasonable, how does List of magical items in the W.I.T.C.H. animated series sound? --May the Edit be with you, always. T-borg (drop me a line) 17:40, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
There is already a list of some magical items items under the comic book page. If a new page is made, I think that those items should be removed from the comic book page and used as its base. However:
1) I fear that such an article will be nominated for deletion under the "A list of non notable items cannot be notable in itself", by people outside of the WITCH interest group.
2) Feel that the Heart is the only item notable enough to have its own page (can you really write more than one paragraph on the Tonga tooth or the Mage ring?).
You're free to make a magic items page, I'll help expand it if I can. But I stand that the Heart is notable enough to have its own page. Anything that you can add to this page from the comic book would be most welcome.

- Ok, thanks for clearing things up. I haven't actually read any of the comic books, but I have seen Seasons 1 and 2, so I will be monitor this page. --May the Edit be with you, always. T-borg (drop me a line) 18:20, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Source of Power
In N is for Narcissist, (When the Guardians are trapped inside Cornelia's protective fire bubble), Will explicitly states that the Heart channels the power of the Aurameres to them. She says something along the lines of "The Heart might not be channeling the Aurameres power to us, but it's still a talasman in its own right", then she uses the Heart to open up a fold to Heatherfield.
Therefore, without the Heart they can't draw on the Aurameres, and without the Aurameres they must use their own life force to do magic.
If I'm misremembering I apologizes, but that's what I'm basing the entry on.

- Wait, let me get this straight. The Guardians are connected to the Aurameres, the Heart "summons and magnifies" their powers, without the Aurameres, the Guardians must draw on their life-force to use their Guardian powers, right? --May the Edit be with you, always. T-borg (drop me a line) 18:30, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- Loosely put, yes. Though I don't think that they know how to use their own life force yet as when they were separated from the Aurameres (N is for Narcissist), and Cornilia had all of their powers they didn't use any magic at all
- It was explicitly stated that former Guardian Halinor still had her fire powers, but that it drained her life force to use them because she was no connected to an Auramere any more).
- Yan Lin said that using her magic drained her life force as she wasn't connected to an Auramere (the episode in series 2 where Blunk and Yan lin fold around trying to collect the Guardians who are all on vacation in separate locations)
- Phobos says the same (either V is for Victory or W is for Witch, I think. They are in a park and he drains off some of Irma and Taranee's power to use against Nerissa rather than "wasting his own life force").

- So, the final verdict is? --May the Edit be with you, always. T-borg (drop me a line) 19:45, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
As per your statement. The Heart takes the power from the Aurameres to the Guardians. Without it they still can use weakened version of their powers, but it uses up their life force.

- I understand, thanks. --May the Edit be with you, always. T-borg (drop me a line) 20:04, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Powers
I have edited the "Powers" section. However I am not sure I did it in the best way; I am new here and all... but still, I think it is much better now than it was before. Here is the "Before" version:
During the course of the animated series, the Heart is merged with the Seal of Phobos. Allowing it to open up folds between worlds. The heart of candracar primary powers are the power to transform the guardian's into there super-powered alter egeos. And the power to close portals. the heart is able to locate it's keeper and vise versa.
Please tell me if you noticed any mistakes or incorrect statements. I really wish for W.I.T.C.H. articles to be accurate and up-to-date. Sergelia 20:09, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Comic book Heart and animated series Heart
I heard there were some more differences between the two, such as the comic book having the Heart colored blue, and kept in Will's palm of her hand. It'd be nice if this could be verified and an image of the Heart as shown in the comic book be provided, don't you think? --May the Edit be with you, always. T-borg (drop me a line) 17:25, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
- Oh! On a side note, can the Heart be considered a weapon? --May the Edit be with you, always. T-borg (drop me a line) 18:23, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
- Personally, I don't think that it counts as a weapon. It has no actual attack powers of its own. The closest thing that it does have is that blinding flash that it lets of sometime. Maybe if you swing it round your head fast enough you could bean a stunned passling with it.

- Ok, and the comic book Heart? --May the Edit be with you, always. T-borg (drop me a line) 19:50, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] You know, the comic book does exist.
I find it sort of strange that, for one, this talks completely about the show. Plus, Walt Disney couldn't have changed the spelling, he was dead before it was even published. Øřêōş 23:16, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
- Most of the details are the same between the comic book and the show, and Walt Disney DID change the spelling. He personally requested that it be changed during an automatic writing session in September 2004.
- perfectblue 07:38, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
- I thought Walt Disney was dead. Maybe his son or something, but not Walt Disney the First. If you can source that, I'd like to see the link. :) Øřêōş 20:57, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

- I'm just going to change it to The Walt Disney Company anyway. He couldn't have changed it anyway. Øřêōş 15:25, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
