Heber Ackland

Commander Heber Kemble Ackland, Royal Navy, was Equerry to The Queen from 2004.
He was educated at the University of Oxford, where he graduated MA. He joined the Royal Navy in the Supply branch, on a full term commission. He qualified as a staff officer and was promoted to Lieutenant-Commander 1 November 1999 and to Commander in 2006.
