[edit] Premiere
The series was originally announced to begin on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW,[1] but now the date is TBD as the slot has been filled by Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll. Although this is purely speculation at this point, a new post on the TV.com Hidden Palms forum showcases the belief that the series will premiere on the CW towards the end of May 2007. [1] This belief is not yet confirmed by the CW Network, but is speculation based on a source at the company which produces the series.
The series is all set to premiere on The CW on May 30, 2007 at 8 PM Eastern/7 PM Central.[2]

[edit] Episodes
For its first season, The CW network ordered 8 episodes intending for it to be a midseason replacement. If the ratings are good by CW standards, a second season is possible. If this does happen, it'll be the first scripted drama series created by the CW to receive this honor, since Runaway, the only other scripted CW drama to be picked up in the inaugurals, was cancelled after 3 episodes.
