Highland Village is a neighborhood in Houston, Texas, United States.
Highland Village is located inside the 610 Loop in the triangle formed by Greenway Plaza, the Galleria and River Oaks. Highland Village is in the 77027 ZIP code.
The first homes in Highland Village were built in the early 1950s, although some of the older homes have been torn down recently and replaced with larger ones.
Nearby Houston neighborhoods include Afton Oaks, Upper Kirby, Lynn Park, Oak Estates, River Oaks, and Weslayan Plaza. The city of West University Place is also in close proximity to Highland Village.
Residents of Highland Village can walk to the upscale stores in the Highland Village Shopping center or to H-E-B's Central Market and to Rice Epicurean supermarkets. Shopping in the Galleria, Uptown Houston, and the Upper Kirby district are nearby.

The subdivisions around Highland Village are served by Houston ISD schools.
Highland Village is zoned to:
- St. George Place Elementary School
- Lanier Middle School
- Lamar High School
As of 2006, St. George Place has not opened yet, so St. George Place residents are to enroll their elementary school-aged children in Briargrove Elementary School for the 2006-2007 school year; the school is in the current St. George Place Campus. Once the new Briargrove campus is complete, Briargrove will move into a new campus and separate from St. George Place.
Grady Middle School is nearby Highland Village.
Prior to spring 2006, Highland Village was zoned to Will Rogers Elementary School. Will Rogers was closed after spring 2006 and Highland Village was rezoned to St. George Place [1] [2].
Nearby private schools include The Kinkaid School and St. John's School.
