Hil Yesenia Hernández Escobar (b. c. 1984 in Castro, Chile), is a beauty queen from Chile. On November 26, 2006, she won the Miss Earth 2006 beauty pageant, beating over 81 other delegates. She is the first Miss Chile to win the coveted crown. She succeeded Nataly Chilet, who was a top eight finalist at the Miss Earth 2005 pageant.
In 2004 she represented Chile in Miss Model Of The World (Semifinalist) and South American Queen. Inside Chile she took part in Miss World Chile 2003 (Finalist) and Miss Earth Chile 2004 (First Runner-up).
These contests give her the experience and path to be crowned Miss Earth, the most important third international beauty pageant after Miss Universe and Miss World. Her mission is to promote environmental topics and the preservation of the Earth.
