Himalaya - l'enfance d'un chef or Himilaya was a 1999 French/Nepali adventure film directed by Eric Valli about survival in the Himilayan Mountains of northern Nepal and Tibet. The film starred actress Lhakpa Tsamchoe in her second major role; she was 'discovered' in the Hollywood blockbuster film Seven Years in Tibet where she played the wife of the central character. Other actors in the film were Thilen Lhondup, Gurgon Kyap and Karma Wangel.
