[edit] "So-called" Armenian Genocide?
The word so-called before Armenian Genocide was added and removed umpteen times. IMO it is not necessary. If someone disagree, let's discuss here. --Army1987 20:03, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
- Apart that "so called" was redundant with "which they term", both phrases were unneeded WP:POV. Armenian Genocide is the phrase commonly used in English to refer to it. Wheter it was actually a genocide (what most scholars believe), or just a misnomer, that's another matter. (You might want not even to see that page...) --Army1987 17:55, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
- Since I don't like to fight edit wars, no matter how slow they are, I will add a comment to the article referring to the talk page. --Army1987 17:55, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] is there any other way to mediate this 'concept' navigation problem
Undoubtedly neither founders of SOAD nor the 'somehow' migrants know a proven track/record of what's happened there in 1900's. Only mount Ararat and river Aras are able to tell us the story... Consequently it should be said 'SO CALLED' in order not to breach and or violate millions of innocent people...x = y + z Please be fair and do not interfere at least a single innocent people right. Please tell me? What's the crime of Turkish Diplomats while they are not only named as military target as if there is a legal war between Armenia with Turkey by ASALA but Armenian groups as well...Please be fair and justice
- The issue is discussed in depth at the Armenian Genocide article. Advocating a point of view without attributing it to someone is greatly discouraged (WP:POV), but even using words that may imply one, without explicitly stating one, is. See WP:WTA#So-called, supposed, alleged, purported. --Army1987 19:02, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
