Hoshie (born August 11, 1980 in Wilmington, North Carolina) commonly known as Joshua Holman, is a Wikipedian currently living in Havelock, North Carolina.
Over the years, he has lived in various places such as Norfolk, Virginia, Houston, Texas, Burgaw, North Carolina, Jacksonville, North Carolina, and Kailua, Hawaii. Joshua is a 1999 graduate of Lejeune High School.
In his spare time, he likes to use computers (he currently owns a PDA (Palm's TX), an Digital audio player (Apple's iPod mini) and a laptop ( Apple's iBook). Joshua also likes reading. His favorite reads are politics, history, and religion. He also likes listening to music. Favorite artists include Madonna, Gloria Estefan, Jewel, Alanis Morissette, Moby, Elton John, Sarah McLachlan, Natalie Imbruglia, Randy Travis and Hootie & The Blowfish. Joshua also collects coins. His collection includes such pieces such as the 1964 Kennedy Half Dollar (the first and the last to contain 90% silver content) and a majority of the Statehood Quarters.

Joshua's goals as a Wikipedian are to write and edit quality and informative articles on history (mainly US History), religion (Christianity, mostly with a focus on English Bible versions), and politics (mainly US and UK politics).
He is currently single.
