Hugh Borton

Hugh Borton (1902 – August 6, 1995) was an American historian who specialised in the history of Japan.
He worked as an advisor on Japan for the Secretary of State of the United States between 1942 and 1948. Borton also served as the president of Haverford College for 10 years.
