Thanks for your concern over the copyright status of the above mentioned image. I extracted the image from a PDF created by a Maldivian Government corporation. I used the image to illustrate the island's landscape because I was not able to find any self-asserted copyright notice anywhere in the document. (Please note that the Maldives has no copyright policy as of yet, hence all Maldivian works are technically non-eligible for copyright).
