Huntington Herald-Press

The Herald-Press is the only daily newspaper published in Huntington County, Indiana.
The newspaper was founded in 1848 as the Indiana Herald. In 1887 it was renamed to Huntington Herald, and in 1930 it merged with Huntington Press and became the Herald-Press. Today the paper is published by Huntington Newspapers, Inc. and owned by the family of Dan Quayle, former Vice President of the United States.
The paper have a daily circulation of about 7,200 issues on weekdays and 7,700 on Sundays, Thursdays they have a "Total Market Coverage" day and deliver the paper to all households in the county (14,242 as of the 2000 census).
