Regarding the requirement that electric machines with built-in freezer units should not be used for 12 hours after any movement, I checked my owner's manual for my machine (which is a Gaggia Gelatiera as shown in the picture in the article). It reads "Do not use this machine for 12 hours after purchase or after any move, which might have stored the machine the wrong way up" I suppose this might mean that if you move it but keep it the right way up and level as you move it, the 12-hour rule wouldn't apply. But as it's such a heavy and cumbersome machine, such a move might be easier said than done. Appliance matt 09:22, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
