Ida Aalberg

Ida Aalberg (b. December 4, 1857 in Janakkala - d. January 17, 1915 in Saint Petersburg) was the most notable Finnish actress in her time. Aalberg was a member of the Theatre of Finland from 1874 to 1889 but also performed on foreign scenes. Aalberg was first married to Lauri Kivekäs and then to Baron A. Uexkull-Gyldenband.
The street Ida Aalbergin tie in Pohjois-Haaga, Helsinki, Finland is named after her, and she has been featured on a Finnish Postage stamp.
