In This Our Life is a 1942 film about two sisters, Stanley and Roy Timberlake. Stanley (Bette Davis) runs off with Roy's (Olivia de Havilland) husband. Soon, she drives him to suicide and so, she returns home, only to find that her sister, Roy, fell in love with her ex-fiancè, Craig. Stanley, being the selfish and jealous woman she is, tries to get Craig back and a climatic conflict ensues.
The film is based on the 1941 novel In This Our Life by Ellen Glasgow.
