Who is the IsraelPCdoctor? ....He is Beau Schutz, originally from Washington, D.C. (born & raised). After having spent 25 years in Orlando, FL (among other locales too numerous to mention), working in the construction trades - mainly, masonry, electrical, & roofing, he finally returned to settle down and live in central Israel (was also here many, many years ago - circa 1973, serving then in the IDF's special unit, Sayeret Matkal http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sayeret_Matkal), where he now owns & operates a computer consulting firm and performs recreationally (as a musician) at selected live music venues, folk clubs, parties and with friends.
Aside from playing jazz & blues flute and percussion, which is his passion, and maintaining and supporting home and office computers and networks - which, for the last 15 years, has been his profession and a dedicated priority, his one other truly irrepressible devotion is to healthy diet and lifestyle. That is to say, in addition to striving to keep as physically fit as possible (he turned 53 in Dec.'06), Beau is also an ardent advocate (to the extent possible) of natural, wholesome, unprocessed nutrition, and tries, whenever practicable, to include only whole, healthful foods in his diet.

And just to ensure that there wouldn't be any idle time left over, several years ago, he accepted an invitation to become Co-owner/Moderator of the (4,000+ member) Tel Aviv English-speaking community's Yahoo Online Bulletin Board / Forum /E-mail list, Taanglo (Tel Aviv Anglo Protexia): http://groups.yahoo.com/group/taanglo/ he is also Owner/Moderator of his own computer support forum for English-speakers throughout Israel, IsraelPCdoctor: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/IsraelPCdoctor/ and ABC-Israel (Association of Bank Customers - Israel) http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/ABC-Israel/ and co-moderator of a number of other Yahoo Anglo-focused email groups/forums serving English-speakers in Israel, as well.
So between the computers, the music, the healthy lifestyle regimen (and it generally requires significantly more time and effort to locate, acquire, properly store & prepare fresh, healthful, whole foods than standard fare), and the managing/moderating/maintaining of the assorted E-mail lists, (and - oh yes, by the way, also tending to the neighborhood's "homeless" cats), Beau seems to have his time - and energy - quite well-accounted for.
Anyhow, finally, after having so frequently found himself drawn to wikipedia in the course of countless web searches, over the years, researching various and sundry miscellaneous topics, he decided to jump on in and become a part of it, himself. He hopes that he'll be able to find time to eventually contribute some interesting, worthwhile material. But, no matter what else happens, taking care of computers and networks throughout central Israel will always remain a top priority for Beau.
