This is the most hated sign by all Iranians. Who has even thought of using this biased and hated sign for the stubs of Iran! It is like using Swastika for german stubs! This sign is heavily politically charged and is a sign of Islamic fundamentalism. I urge you to omit this as soon as possible. - Swastika could be used for German stubs if it was still internationally known as official symbol of Germany. This symbol is now associated to Iran whether you like it or not. Anyway, your hatred cannot justify editing all pages that use {{Iran-geo-stub}}. If you know any other symbol you should upload it and propose it on Template talk:Iran-geo-stub.--Pouya 20:37, 26 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Hey, don't revert. Talk instead. The version I'm uploading is superior. Why do you revert it? Are you Iranian at all, how do you know which one is the correct one? Ask any Iranian and they'll tell you.

- You are wrong in believing that the page you are quoting is authentic. I am Iranian, born in 1982, and left Iran only in 2003. I have read the ISIRI 1 [1] standard which is the national standard defining the flag and emblem of the IRI. There is no mention of the color of the emblem, except for the red when it's used in the flag. And in all these years in Iran, I hardly can remember seeing the emblem in green. It's just colorless, almost all the time draw in black, like the standard page mentioned above. Just follow the link, look around. It's in Persian, but you see the emblem on the very top, in black. And one more thing is that the color is NOT a requirement according to the standard. On the other hand, the shape is. And the shape that you keep reverting back to is plain wrong. Compare it to the shape in the standard or the one I'm submitting. Don't you see any difference? There are a lot of Iranian users around here, User:Sina, User:Roozbeh, User:Pouya, and User:Zereshk come to my mind. If you insist that I'm wrong, ask for their opinion. - Because nobody calls it coat of arms. As you see in the search result, there are only three pages with the emblem (not counting wikipedia). Given that there is no other English source about the emblem, it's quite possible that they all originated from the page you were refering to. I repeat again, the image that you keep reverting too is deformed, and not at all acceptable. Ok, I followed the links to te Iranian ministries linked from Iran. These are all that have the emblem (not as part of the flag) on the front page: [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [8], [9]. None of them green. Like I previously said, they simply get the color of text or graphics around them: colorless. Since you reverted again, I have to revert, since I believe mine is better.
