Jérôme Bonnissel (born 16 April 1973 in Montpellier, France) is a French football player who most recently played as a defender, a left fullback, currently without a club after being released from his contract with Olympique Marseille.
Bonnissel started his career with his hometown club Montpellier and spent three seasons in Spain’s La Liga with Deportivo La Coruna. He returned to Bordeaux in 1999 and stayed until he joined Rangers during the transfer window in January 2003 on a contract until the end of the season. In the Summer of 2003 he joined Fulham on free transfer.
He was a part of the FC Girondins de Bordeaux side that knocked Martin O’Neill’s Glasgow Celtic side out of the UEFA Cup in 2000/2001.
