Talk:J.A.I.L. 4 Judges
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The title needs changing to Judicial Accountability Initiative Law, --SqueakBox 04:09, Apr 9, 2005 (UTC)
STOP CYBER-STALKING! SqueakBox you are wrong again. The reform movement is known as J.A.I.L. 4 Judges. This is an intentional acronym and will not be changed to suit your politics and vandalism. Agwiii 13:33, 9 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Wikipedia is not the plaCE TO LAUNCH PERSONAL ATTACKS. nO YOU DON'T GET TO DECIDE HOW THINGS WORK HERE, --SqueakBox 13:51, Apr 9, 2005 (UTC)
I have cleaned up the article, removed repetition and POV and made it so the article does not assume that this thing is going to happen. I changed the name as Jail seems the more common usage. If by cyberstalking Agwiii refers to the fact that I am editing this article and others he is interested in, I will point out that he has no right to try and censor what articles I choose to edit, --SqueakBox 18:45, Apr 9, 2005 (UTC)
STOP Cyberstalking, dogposting, and harassing me on Wikipedia. You are vandalizing valid pages. You are completely wrong and have MIS-NAMED the J.A.I.L. 4 Judges discussion. You do know nothing of the subject and your sole purpose in these edits it to harass me. I am asking the PTB to BAN you from Wikipedia. ==> Agwiii 13:58, 10 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Discussion
The organization is known by its registered acronym of J.A.I.L. 4 Judges ® . Sometimes this confuses people, who try to make it into Jail 4 Judges, which is incorrect. If the ® should not be in the title, then by all means delete it. Perhaps a single reference to ® in the text is more than sufficient. Agwiii 19:02, Apr 10, 2005 (UTC)
- Yes, a single reference in the text is more than sufficient. I would have moved it to the name without the ® if I could; however, the target page already exists (as a redirect to this one), and I'm not an administrator to be able to delete the redirect. That's why I added it to Wikipedia:Requested moves. If you know an administrator, the redirect blocking the move can be deleted under CSD R3, and the page moved there. --cesarb 19:17, 10 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- What I want is to see this article moved to Judicial Accountability Initiative Law, which is currently a redirect to the article, --SqueakBox 19:55, Apr 10, 2005 (UTC)
That would be improper, as you should know, Squeak, since The organization is known by its registered acronym of J.A.I.L. 4 Judges ® . Agwiii 20:13, Apr 10, 2005 (UTC)
- In fact, if Judicial Accountability Initiative Law is the most common name used for it, it should go there, no matter what's the official name (it goes without saying that the official name should also be mentioned and redirected). See Wikipedia:Naming conventions#Use common names of persons and things. Since I have never heard of this organization before, I have no opinions as to which of the two names (J.A.I.L. 4 Judges or Judicial Accountability Initiative Law) would be better, since I don't know which is the most common of them. --cesarb 20:30, 10 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks for the clarification CesarB. The article is correct as J.A.I.L. 4 Judges ® . Agwiii 20:50, Apr 10, 2005 (UTC)
Squeak, what we want to see is an end to your dog posting. What I like is your misspelling and grammar. Agwiii 20:13, Apr 10, 2005 (UTC)
Probably cos it's British English. Thanks for the compliment, --SqueakBox 20:23, Apr 10, 2005 (UTC)
