James Callan

Fr. James Callan is a former Roman Catholic priest and principal founder of the Spiritus Christi sect in Rochester, New York.

Callan was excommunicated for setting up his own church and refusing orders by his bishop to report to the new parish to which he had been assigned to. In response to his excommunication by the Bishop of Rochester, he has stated that he does not believe in the concept of excommunication, thereby rendering it void from his perspective.
