Janie Porche is a singer and multi-instrumentalist in the Chicago band Bound Stems.
She is originally from Texas, but moved to Chicago in 2003 to attend graduate school at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She received her MFA in 2005.
She recorded an album of solo songs, called The Laws of Average, prior to joining Bound Stems.
Janie was also in the Apple Switch ad campaign during the fall of 2003.
