Architectural Designer, Born in New Haven Connecticut 1969, Merging Architecture, Design, Media, and Technology….

Jason Holtzman, is interested in producing work in which a combination of architecture, 3d animation, video and music come together for a complete experience and a virtual one stop design. Thus producing designs using the most current technologies arriving from initial concept to end marketing product.

The main focus of his design theory (from residential to high-rise design), is to incorporate aspects of Sustainable and renewable natural energies to as many of his design projects as possible; making “Bio-climatic” design an integral part of his technological theory and architectural practice.

In 1993 after graduating with honors from Pratt Institute, Mr. Holtzman set about a three year gallery/museum exhibition tour of re-creating the final studio of Piet Mondrian. Working on a publication “Mondrian in New York” with Akioshi Tokoro, owner of the Gallerie Tokoro in Tokyo, Japan, and a installation at the 1995 Bienalle in Sao Paulo, Brazil as well as an installation design at The MoMA, in NYC from oct.’95-jan’96. As an homage to finishing a thesis work started by his deceased father Harry Holtzman, (A founding member of the American Abstract Artist Association, who helped bring Mondrian to America in 1940) Jason also helped form a group to keep alive the integrity of Piet Mondiran’s work and legacy. Getting back to his own passion of design, Holtzman has worked on various projects ranging from architectural design to product and graphic design as well as 3D animation and filmmaking. Mr. Holtzman formed his own company, Aesthetic Domain Productions, Inc. in 1996. (Which recently was renamed to “11 even”). Working on various independent design build projects since then (Including several restaurants, boutique retail shops, commercial exterior, and interiors as well as residential projects, and museum installations), Mr. Holtzman has collaborated with groups such as Balmore and Associates, Hellmuth, Obata +Kassabaum, Forum Architects, and HAHA+company.

Mr. Holtzman worked for HOK architects in NYC for five years on projects ranging from AT&T Network operations center, to Delta Airlines terminals at JFK and Boston Logan airports and collaborated as Project Designer for the 4.5 million square foot FSM (Fisher Brothers, Sheldon H. Solow) East River Competition next to the United Nations.

This project featured 3 Schemes of 40-60 story buildings, replacing an existing Con-Edison energy plant with new structures that would generate their own energy using a “Bioclimatic” approach. These new high-tech low energy consuming buildings featuring wind, solar, geo-thermal, and rainwater collectors, as well as hydrogen fuel generators, are examples of how buildings should be in the future.

After 9/11- In 2001, Mr. Holtzman worked on an intensive scheme for the Ground Zero site, producing a design that incorporated 5 “bioclimatic” sustainable towers, one in each borough, creating a visual link that allowed the towers to literally and figuratively “talk” to each other via a wi-fi-laser network.

Mr. Holtzman has since continued designing projects pushing towards a more sustainable architectural world with projects for Diana Balmori (An Eco-site for the 2012 Olympics); Robert Stern and Associates (A design for a double skin lobby wall system for Stern's first sustainable tower at 1 Penn Plaza, PA.); and Forum Architects (The first Green-Roof project for the Midtown Miami Group in Miami Florida).

Mr. Holtzman has recently been working on designs for various sustainable and renewable energy residential projects from New York City to Miami.
