Jeff Darlington

Jeff Darlington (b. 10 November 1981 in Elizabeth, New Jersey)is an American sportswriter covering the Miami Dolphins for The Miami Herald.
Jeff Darlington has covered sports in Florida – including college football and the NFL – since 2000. Currently the South Florida representative of the Pro Football Writers Association, Darlington began covering the Dolphins before the 2005 season. He previously wrote about the football and men's basketball programs at the University of Florida. Darlington also is a graduate of UF.
While working at the Orlando Sentinel, Darlington's uncovering of former coach Ron Zook's verbal confrontation with a University of Florida fraternity earned him fourth place in the breaking news category of the Associated Press Sports Editors annual awards in the highest circulation category.
Darlington attended Seminole High School (Pinellas County, Florida) in Seminole, Florida, where he graduated with Ryan Fowler (Dallas Cowboys linebacker). He also attended the school at the same time as Casey Kotchman (Anaheim Angels first baseman) and D'Qwell Jackson (Cleveland Browns linebacker).
