Jeffy's Web / Irwin Gets a Clue is the 47th episode of The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. It first aired June 24, 2005 on Cartoon Network.

Jeff the Spider laid thousands upon thousands of spider eggs and is going to die in 36 hours. He wants to give his eggs to Billy, but Billy is still afraid of bugs, including Jeff himself. Billy runs away and Jeff is forced to chase him, along with Mandy, Grim, Billy's Dad, Irwin and many, many others, while they race against each other, like the old cartoon series Wacky Races. In the end, Jeff saves Billy and everyone sees the kind of nice spider Jeff is. Mandy gets the idea that Jeff should give his eggs to the town's people, so that they may have a kind spider of their own. The idea is met with disastrous results. As Jeff begins to run out of time, Grim decides to allow Jeff to live longer because he likes to see Jeff scaring the doody out of Billy.

Irwin is depressed again because Mandy continues to ignore him. When he met Hoss Delgado, Irwin begs him to teach him to be cool. Through training and intense shocking and modification, Irwin becomes "cool", or he now looks like Hoss, complete with the hair, beard and a mixer in his hand. They head out, so that Irwin can prove to Mandy that he's cool, and Hoss releases a blob monster that Mandy, Billy and Grim had fought earlier. After Irwin fails miserably to defeat the monster, Hoss steps in to eliminate it, and Irwin is left alone, continuing to be, in Mandy's words, a nerd.

Irwin performs cheerleading motions while listening to polka music. He threw his pom-poms in the air. They didn't come down yet, so Irwin started dancing. After making his last cheerleading move and catching the pom-poms, his pants ripped. He blushes and walks off sideways.

Irwin Gets a Clue mostly focuses on Irwin.

The Hanna-Barbera characters who got hit by Hoss Delgado's truck: Yogi Bear, Boo-Boo, Huckleberry Hound, Secret Squirrel and Snagglepuss.

When Hoss zaps Irwin to instantly make him "cool", as Irwin stands back up after being zapped, it is a reference to a scene in "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines", when the Terminator arrives from the future.

The title of Jeffy's Web refers to Charlotte's Web, a book by EB White.

Hoss Delgado says he has an idiot chip implanted in his skull. Every time Billy talks to him, it burns his brain. This is similar to the "V Chip" in South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut.

While Irwin is stuck inside the monster, Hoss transforms his mechanical hand into a little box of breath mints that resembles a box of Tic Tacs.

Kyle, the cone, is briefly seen tied in chains to a heater in a dimly-lit room. This is a reference to the movie Saw.

A truck with people resembling Beverly Hillbillies join in the car chase in Jeffy's Web.

In the episode Chaos Theory Hoss Del Gado says he's been dating Eris since episode 47, meaning that Hoss and Eris started dating after this episode.

The eggs Jeff laid are slimy and see through, but the egg Jeff hatched from had a shell.
In Irwin Gets A Clue when Irwin is about to get attacked by the slime monster in the apple suit, Irwin screams and starts quivering. You can see that only his outline moves and Irwin stays in place.
