[edit] Biography
Jimmy was born in Taunton ,Somerset, and got his start with youth team, Morley Rangers. However, being still at a young age, he was not happy playing for a team which didn't include any of his school friends. Instead, he moved to Woodford Colts F.C. Jimmy eventually moved on to the University of Kent where he started to run college football team Parkwood United F.C.
[edit] Career
[edit] Woodford Colts F.C
His senior debut was as a centre-back vs. Railway Beacon, where he displayed a surprising ability for heading away long balls that would strangely disappear as he moved to the right side of midfield. The combination of pace and heading, along with working well alongside his old school friend, Ashley McKenna, saw Woodford repel the Beacon attack time and time again.
Jimmy continued his run through the Woodford side, never missing a game. Jimmy had a short spell in the midfield but competition for midfield spaces and a lack of defenders in the team saw Jimmy mainly stay at the back of the team.
Jimmy left the team as he concentrated on his final year in sixth form and moved to Canterbury to attend the University of Kent.
[edit] Parkwood United F.C
Jimmy started the second chapter of his career 300 miles from where it had begun, 2006 in a inter-college friendly clash for Parkwood against Rutherford Raiders. Jimmy impressed manager, Peter Mackintosh upon his arrival and was instantly a first team regular, taking up his favourite position on the right of midfield. Despite only being at the club for a few months, he was asked to help run the team as it converted into Parkwood United F.C.
Jimmy helped organise and push the team forward in their first ever season, being part of the team that reached the cup semi-final after some fantastic results against some of the stronger teams in the league. Having scored 5 goals and assisted on more, his contribution to the team was no more than any other player in the team but helped maintain the committed spirit within the team.
[edit] Trivia
Jimmy changed course from mathematics to war studies over the summer of 2006 meaning that he will stay at the University of Kent for a year longer, allowing him to continue to contribute to Parkwood United F.C for a year more.
