John Emms (chessmaster)

John Emms (born 14 March 1967) is a British chess grandmaster and writer. He tied for first in the 1997 British Championship. Emms was a contributor to the book Nunn's Chess Openings and the author of The Survival Guide to Rook Endings and several other books.
