John Oakley is a Canadian radio personality. He is currently working at the AM640 Toronto Radio station in Toronto, Ontario in the 5:30am-10am time slot. Before 2003 he worked at the rival CFRB station in the 3pm to 6pm time slot.
Oakley is noted for trying to employ a conversational style of his open line morning show by attacking conventions mainly via ad hominems, which is an outgrowth of his background in the stand-up comedy business. His morning show generally attracts a right-wing audience.
