Most Reverend John Stephen Cummins (born March 3, 1928 in Oakland, California) is an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He was Bishop of Oakland from June 30, 1977 until his retirement on October 1, 2003. He was the co-consecrator of Roger Cardinal Mahony, the current Archbishop of Los Angeles.
