[edit] Frank r pierce
A tag has been placed on Frank r pierce, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be a biographical account about a person, group of people, or band, but it does not indicate how or why he/she/they is/are notable. If you can indicate why Frank r pierce is really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on Talk:Frank r pierce. Any admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. You might also want to read our general biography criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that admins should wait a while for you to assert his/her/their notability, please affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page, and then immediately add such an assertion. It is also a very good idea to add citations from reliable sources to ensure that your article will be verifiable. --Merope 19:37, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Frank R Pierce is Notable
I would like to jump in here, Frank R. Pierce is notable. I may be wrong, but at one time he was the vice president of the Ford Tractor Company, and was responsible for a lot of positive changes. He was also responsible for helping a great deal of the American POWs that were in german prisoner of war camps in WWII....maby you people shouldn't be so hasty about deleting the article.....food for thought???
[edit] Article to be Deleted, no Debate will stop that!!
Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. -- Merope 19:37, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from articles as it is considered vandalism. You may place {{hangon}} on the page and make your case on the article's talk page if you oppose an article's speedy deletion. Thanks. -- Merope 19:41, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your statement about "deletionists"
Hi, I saw the statement you placed on your user page regarding your intent to "disrupt the activities of the deletionists." I would like to alert you to the Wikipedia:Assume good faith policy and the Wikipedia:Don't disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point guideline, and ask you to reconsider this statement. Users here are encouraged to work towards building consensus. If you explain your reasoning, you will find that most people here are willing to listen and work with you, provided your activities fall within Wikipedia's policies.
