From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jon-Paul Pittman (born 24th October, 1986, in Oklahoma City, America) is a footballer currently playing for Doncaster Rovers. He plays as a striker.
Jon-Paul started his career in Aston Villa's youth academy before moving to Nottingham Forest where he only appeared in a FA Cup & LDV Vans Trophy tie. To gain experience he was loaned out to both Hartlepool United & Bury where he scored his only senior goal to date as a consolation goal in Bury's 3-1 home defeat to Chester City in August 2006. The American-born striker is well-known for his blistering pace in front of goal, and like last term, maybe given a run in the first-team.
Jon-Paul signed for Doncaster Rovers on a 6 month contract in January 2007 after being released by Forest at the end of 2006.
