Jonathan Alder High School

Jonathan Alder High School, grades 9-12, is a four-year comprehensive high school located in Plain City, Ohio. It is accredited by the North Central Association. It is the only high school in the Jonathan Alder Local School District. Their nickname is the Pioneers.
A new Jonathan Alder High School was built at the location 9000 Rt 42 and was first occupied in the 2005-2006 school year.
Jonathan Alder offers extra curricular classes such as Spanish, French, Yearbook, Journalism, Film Studies, Drama and others.

Jonathan Alder has very reputable sports programs, having won the 2006 Girls Basketball State Championship and 2006 Competition Cheerleading Championship. 2006 was also the 5-year in a row the Pioneer football team advanced to the state playoffs.
