Joseph Buquet

Joseph Buquet is a fictional character in The Phantom of the Opera.
He is the chief stagehand for the theatre who boasts of his knowledge of the Opera Ghost and uses it to frighten the chorus girls. Buquet is warned by Madame Giry that the Phantom does not like being treated as if he does not exist, and ends up being hanged by the Phantom during the production of Il Muto.
