Joseph Pannell Taylor

Joseph Pannell Taylor (4 May 1796 – 29 June 1864) was a U.S. Civil War Union General.
He was born in 1796 in Louisville, Kentucky to Richard Taylor and Sarah Dabney Strother. He married Evelyn A. McLean (1811-?) from Ohio.
He was the brother of US president Zachary Taylor, whose son, Richard Taylor, was a Civil War Confederate general.
