Josh Palmer

Josh Palmer (born Regina, Saskatchewan) was a contestant on Canadian Idol 3 (2005). Palmer made it to the Top 10 of that year's Canadian Idol by winning one of the two wild-card spots. He was eliminated at the Top 6 level on August 17, 2005, after performing the following songs:
Top 32 - "Love Having You Around" by Stevie Wonder
Wild card - "Fooled Around and Fell in Love" by Elvin Bishop
Top 10 (Canadian Hits) - "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen
Top 9 (Stevie Wonder) - "That Girl"
Top 8 (Music from the 1980's) - "In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins
Top 7 (Standards) - "When I Fall in Love", written by Edward Heyman and Victor Young.
Top 6 (Classic Rock) - "Layla" by Eric Clapton
In the fall of 2006, Josh was a contributor to an all-star fund-raising CD for the Saskatoon Food Bank called 'Across the Nation'. He recently announced the forthcoming opening of a recording studio in the Broadway district of his hometown, Saskatoon.
