Juan Pablo Delgado Irizarry (born 1987 in Yauco, Puerto Rico) is an adult-teenager that study Nursing in the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico in Ponce. He lives in Yauco.

Juan Pablo Delgado Irizarry was born October 18, 1987 in Yauco, Puerto Rico. Juan's mother, Mayra I. Irizarry Ramirez, a 38 year-old woman, is an unemployee woman and his dad, Pablo Delgado Muñoz, a 50 year-old man is a Registered Nurse in Hospital Damas in Ponce. When he was a little boy, he was in Ana M. Negrón elementary school, a public school. Then, he was in secondary school and it was called Ana M. Negrón too.
[edit] Acting Career
In ninth grade, he started to get some acting, dancing and music classes with his professor Belinda Pacheco. He prefered acting, so, the teacher select him to be in an advanced group. She saw that he was good and that he was a “talented” person in acting.
The teacher make a play called “Sarmientos”, in which he acted and he did of Pedro. According to the professor, he did learned all the script of the play and he even knowed the lines of the other characters. The professor liked that from Juan Pablo. From there, he loved acting. Also he get classes of Dance with the same professor and he liked to dance too, but he liked more acting. He was in activities of dances that towards in the school. He graduated of secondary school and the school gaves him a medal of acting and dancing.
When graduating in secondary school, Juan Pablo arrive at High School Luis Muñoz Marín of Yauco. The first thing he did was to add acting classes in his program of clases to get the class. In his first term in High School he get classes of acting and art at the same time.
In his acting classes, he met Professor Milagros Flecha Rossy, acting teacher. She said in her normal class that she have an advanced group of acting in which any student could be and that they only need to talk with her about it. He talked with her and she accepts him in the group. In the group, he met some friends. When they were together, the professor said that she wanted to mount Lion King, but in the month there was no interest in the people to mount it. She had mount a play called La Bella y La Bestia (Beauty and the Beast), so she decided to take it to some places in Puerto Rico, so people could see it. It was a success.
When arriving at the second year in high school, he found his old friends of acting and he met new friends. At noon he heard Prof. Flecha talking about to do a new play and she was still thinking to do Lion King. They made Lion King and they take it to Lajas, San German, Yauco and other places. He made a character of a Hiena, Wildebeest and he was a Director of scene in the same play. They even compete in an activity, in 'Coliseo Pachin Vicens', and they win $5,000, but not in cash. What they won was a check of $5,000, but for make-ups, wigs... things about Acting.
When he was in his third year in high school, the teacher, Milagros Flecha Rossy, decide to mount “Princesa Calva” and he did a character of Pedro, Carmilucha's (Princess) dad. This play was a success because they show this play in children's school and to different schools of Yuaco. They even mounted it in San Germán.
He is now in the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico in Ponce stuying Nursing and he is in an advanced group called “Taller de Teatro Luis Torres Nadal” (Rehearsal of acting Luis Torres Nadal).

[edit] Don Leopoldo Santiago Lavandero Awards
Juan Pablo was nominated in “Theatric Discipline”, he won the award against 4 more people nominated. In the awards, there was one award called “Don Leopoldo Santiago Lavandero Award”. The students had to write the name of the person in one paper, this award wasn't by nomination. In the night of the awards, he won the bigger award, “Don Leopoldo Santiago Lavandero Award”.
